Child Abuse Prevention
ESCAPE
Founded in 1983 by local Exchange Clubs, the ESCAPE Family Resource Center works to prevent child abuse and neglect in the Houston, Braaoria, and Fort Bend County area. In 2003, about 4,300 parents and children learned how to live together safely and supportively through ESCAPE programs.

The Bellaire Exchange Club has donated funds to ESCAPE since its inception as well as attending and volunteering at fundraisers, such as the Listen with Your Heart event. Members of the club have also sat on the board of directors of ESCAPE.
