PAL
The Houston Police Activities League, PAL, is a nonprofit organization in partnership with the Houston Police Department. During the formative years of kids, HPD officers intervene and positively influence the attitude and self-esteem of Houston area youngsters.

Sports is the magnet HPD officers use to attract boys and girls to PAL. Once involved, youths are exposed to cultural, educational and life-enriching experiences. Activities include trips to the theatre, historical sites, and educational field trips and community services.

The Bellaire Exchange Club has been involved in both funding PAL and in volunteering to take kids the various sporting events.
