Give a Kid a Flag to Wave
Each Fourth of July, members and volunteers of the Bellaire Exchange Club hand out small American flags to the attendees of the City of Bellaire Fourth of July Parade. This annual parade commences at 9:30am at the Bellaire Triangle, and ends at Bellaire Park at City Hall. Festivities after the parade include food and games for kids until 1:00pm.

To volunteer to hand out flags, contact John Coles or just show up at Crescent City Begneits (corner Rice & Bellaire)at 8:00am to collect some flags to hand out. For more information on the parade, contact the City of Bellaire at 713- 662-8280.

In February 2006 The Bellaire Exchange club joined volunteers from Texas-Louisiana Gulf Coast District Exchange clubs to hand out flags at the Houston Rodeo Parade in downtown Houston. Take a look at some images from the slightly soggy event.
